PERSONALIZED ELEGANCE: CUSTOM AWARDS, CRAFTSMANSHIP AND EXCELLENCE

    Our Wikipedia, marking methods: plaques

    Plaques

    a) Metal plates
Aluminum plates in various colors are usually mounted on the base of the figurine. They are an excellent option for figurines where engraving cannot be done on the main element.
Marking on the plates is most commonly done using sublimation technology, which involves thermal transfer onto the metal surface.
The basic colors that are used are gold, silver, and bronze. These are also the most commonly used colors for plates.

A piece of aluminum sheet with specialized printing is placed under a press heated to a high temperature. In a matter of seconds, under these conditions, the print is "reflected" onto the metal surface.

After cooling, the plate is cut to the proper size using a guillotine. Then, it is mounted on the figurine using double-sided adhesive tape.

    b) Engraving laminate
In cases where the surface on which we want to place the plaque is not flat, or the shape of the plaque is more complex, engraved laminate is used instead of metal plaques. This material is flexible and easy to cut and engrave with a CO2 laser. The plaque is attached to the figurine using double-sided adhesive tape - for thicker laminates, while for thinner laminates, they are self-adhesive.

Laminates can also be used to decorate figurines, giving them a metal-like appearance or as small ornaments.
