    Our Wikipedia, material: wood

Wood is a "living" material - which means that its structure can change over time - which makes the use of wooden elements in the production of figurines not so easy, despite the theoretical simplicity of making wooden elements. However, thanks to our extensive experience in producing figurines that combine different materials, we can successfully use wooden elements in our daily production. We make bases and additional elements for figurines from wood. However, we also have elegant figurines made entirely of wood in our portfolio. We use various types of wood in our productions, including:

    a) Solid wood

    Solid wood
As the name suggests, these are elements made from a solid piece of a given type of wood. The undeniable advantage of using solid wood in production is the most natural look of the final product. However, the downside is the possibility of the wood distorting over time (as it dries) and the difficulty of producing elements with large dimensions without the need to glue smaller pieces of wood together.

    b) Veneered wood

    Veneered wood
Veneered wood refers to elements made of a furniture board, covered with a wooden veneer on the outside. The finished product looks very similar to solid wood, but it is a more stable material (it doesn't deform over time) and sometimes easier to work with. Veneered wood also allows for more freedom in choosing the color scheme of the final product. Exotic woods with intricate color patterns are more readily available as veneers than as solid wood.

    c) Plywood

    plywood
Plywood is a flat board of large format and various thicknesses made up of thin layers of wood glued together in an alternating pattern. Thanks to this, despite its small thickness, it gains strength unavailable for other wooden materials of such thickness. We use plywood in our creations in the form of flat elements serving as an addition to our statuettes (as ornaments). Thanks to its uniform structure, plywood is easy to process with a CO2 laser, allowing us to create even very complex shapes from it. An additional advantage is the very aesthetic engraving that we can make on plywood.
